Stario Launcher

Stario Launcher is a minimalistic launcher for Android. Stario Launcher greatly simplifies the content displayed on your home screen, giving you faster access to your installed apps, as well as the widgets you want displayed.

When installing the launcher, you'll see that the first screen has only two widgets: one that displays your device's remaining battery and another that displays the time with an analog clock. Just above this is the date and a message wishing you good morning, good afternoon or good evening. At the bottom of the screen is quick access to the Google search engine.

Swipe up to access all the apps installed on your device, or use the search option if you can't find it; swipe down for an empty screen where you can create widgets of the apps that allow it;

and swipe left to open a feed that you can customize using RSS feeds to see the latest news, which can be grouped into the subjects you want. Finally, if you swipe right, you'll see a section where you can add quick notes.
